Supporting Indonesia's Energy Transition

Indonesia-German Energy Cooperation

As Indonesia sets its sights on a greener and more sustainable future, the nation is in the midst of an energy transition that holds the promise of transforming its energy landscape. Abundant renewable energy resources, including geothermal, hydro, and biomass, offer a glimmer of hope for a cleaner and more environmentally friendly energy system. Yet, the path towards achieving this goal is not without obstacles. Insufficient investments in renewable energy, along with limited grid infrastructure, pose significant challenges, compounded by the prevailing reliance on fossil fuels for power generation.
